Description

An impressionistic oil on canvas depicting a view across a pond. The artist has used a subtle range of earthy colours and beautifully captured the effects of light on water.

It’s monogrammed in the lower right and appears to bear an inscription.

Size: 9” x 10½” / 22.5cm x 27cm

Year of creation: c. 1910

Provenance: France

Condition: Craquelure in areas which has caused the paper to crack. However, this is only noticeable upon close inspection and doesn’t detract from the overall appeal.
