A beautiful oil on canvas depicting a view in the French town of Châteauneuf-sur-Cher. The River Cher winds its way through this pretty area and you can imagine artists sitting along its banks while painting outdoors.

Ferdinand Chaumeau came from a family of painters and enjoyed this area of France. He studied in Paris and was highly regarded in his day.
