A late 18th century Dutch marine oil painting on canvas, the scene of mixed shipping in a brisk breeze, with a fishing vessel in the foreground and larger ships to the mid/background, under a partly clouded sky, in a giltwood frame. Dutch, circa 1790.
Canvas size: 45 cm by 56 cm.
Condition: Overall very good, the painting has been relined at some point in the last 50 years, and the surface is reasonably clean. The frame is probably mid 19th century.
