Description

This attractive & decorative oil on canvas was painted by the talented artist Hazel Bruce Dunlop (1911 - 2005) - the reverse of the canvas is inscribed with her name and London address.

Hazel was born in Borneo and studied at the Slade School of Fine Art with Henry Tonks, Philip Wilson Steer and Randolph Schwabe. She was married to the artist Francis Edwin Hodge whom she lived with in London. Dunlop was a member of the United Society of artists, Society of Women Artists, Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Royal Academy of Arts.

Now removed from its previous, rather over powering and unsightly frame, this charming painting can now be viewed to its full potential - this canvas is offered in good unframed original condition.
