19th century Italian carved alabaster Grand Tour cabinet bust of the Farnese ''Eros di Centocelle'', after the antique Roman original in the National Archaeological Museum in Naples. Eros was the Greek god of love, sex, eroticsm and sensuality, Cupid was his roman incarnation. On an integral circular waisted marble socle. Italian circa 1860.
