A charming oil on oak panel dating from the late Georgian period. The painting shows a typical idealised rural scene of milking the cows in a green landscape setting. The work is competently done but not signed as is often the case with this early provincial work, it has been professionally cleaned and is in excellent condition. The painting retains the original gilt frame which is in great untouched condition with the original gilding. The whole has a wonderful English country house look.
