Depiction or Location: Having undertaken our research, we believe this to be The Marmion Tower, in the village of West Tanfield, Nr Ripon, North Yorkshire. A subject which JMW Turner was also known to have sketched in his 1816 Tour.

Is the artwork Framed or Mounted: Framed in a lovely sold antique gilt frame, this does have age wear and some damage which has been historically repaired, however the mouldings are complete.

Condition report: The artwork is considered to be in good condition in line with age, however there is some minor craquelure and wear to some small areas of the paintwork.
