Thomas Rose Miles "Coming Rain, Nr. Harrow, Middlesex" Oil Painting

Description

Thomas Rose Miles was an English painter working mostly between 1869-1910. He painted mainly landscape and marine scenes including views around the coast of the north east of England, often featuring a human element. He exhibited with the Royal Academy, the Society of British Artists, the Royal Society of British Artists, the Royal Hibernian Society and Arthur Tooth and Sons Gallery in London.

"Coming Rain Nr. Harrow, Middlesex" is a lovely example of the artist's work. It is an oil on canvas measuring 14"x 18". On the reverse is a nice old inscription in the artist's hand. It is in a very good period swept gilt frame giving an overall size of 21"x 25".
