Late 19th/Early 20th Century Mountaineers or Balloonist Gilt Pocket Barometer in Blue Silk Lined Leather Case.

A.W. Gamage Ltd was a department Store at 116-128 Holborn in London established in 1871. It eventually closed in 1972.

Altitude Readings 0-8000 feet.

Barometer 2in or 5cm diameter and 1.5cm deep

Case 2.3in or 6cm and 3cm deep

Pleased to advise that the Altitude Ring does Rotate & the Needle Rotates under Different Atmospheric Pressures.
