An fine marine watercolour by James Aitken (1853 - 1935)

This beautiful painting depicts boats at sunrise. A good large example by James Aitken, offered to the market for the first time in nearly 50 years. The painting was acquired by the previous owner directly from James Aitkens daughter in the early 1970s.

This painting has been professionally and sensitively cleaned. It has also been re-framed and mounted to the highest of standards.
