These 19th century Persian bird images are superbly painted in gouache on parchment and date from around 1860. The paintings have fine detail and have hand inked calligraphy to the top and bottom. The pair are beautifully framed in good quality walnut frames with attractive gold mounts that compliment the works beautifully.

The frames measure 44 cms by 36 cms overall.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
