Antique Hand Coloured Stipple Engraving Oranges

Description

This is a most decorative antique hand coloured stipple engraving in lovely condition dating from around 1830.

The engraving is hand painted in watercolour in delightful colours with a beautiful warm orange to the fruit. The stem of the fruiting branch is tied with a ribbon with the Latin 'Aurantium, Stellatum et Roseum'.

The engraving is mounted in its original burr walnut frame that is in excellent order which measures
