Mansion House Antiques & Fine Art has dated this piece to the 1950s.
There is a rocky area to the right of the painting with, below it, grass and heather covered slopes leading to the edge of the water. Unfortunately, on this occasion the artist has not given the location.

PRUDENCE TURNER
Was born in Baluchistan in Pakistan of English parentage.
She took to painting at an early age and entered a competition against much older children at the age of four. She lived in India, Pakistan, Egypt, France and the UK, always learning and painting.

Her best works were her Scottish oils on canvas and were mostly painted while she visited Ballachulish near Glencoe. Since 1967, her works have been reproduced in print form.
FRAME
The painting is newly framed in a 2" ornate gilt frame. It will be supplied wired and ready to hang.

CONDITION
Excellent condition with no repairs, craquelure, paint loss, or stretcher marks.
