Rare early pair of Italian Renaissance period patinated bronze Roman emperors wearing victors' laurels. Mounted on later 18th/early 19th century gilt bronze socles and white and pinky grey marble pedestals. Good even patination with a couple of small casting faults typical of bronzes of this period. A very similar single bronze emperor of the same period sold at Bonhams New York on the 4th March 2015 lot 1336. Italian 16th Century.
