Description

A wonderful painting for anyone with a love for greyhounds, or dogs in general! Dating from the 1930s, this original oil on canvas almost almost has an art deco poster feel to it.

An original antique painting, it is a little worn and weathered as visible on the photos, but somehow, I the vintage feel almost adds to its charm.

I have no information on the artist, E Marsy and had not encountered his work before. However, during research came across another picture by him being auctioned at Bonhams in San Francisco, which proves that he was a bona fide artist.

Measuring 43 x 46 cm and signed at the lower left, the painting is presented in a simple wooden frame.
