A lovely example of an early victorian oil on canvas depicting a Norfolks Broads scene with a man punting along the river banks on a summers day.

The painting is signed in the bottom left hand corner by listed British artist E.Baker.

A finely detailed painting with attention to the reeds and grass in the foreground.

The condition is very original and good as the painting has a clean and rich finish and is adequately varnished.

The frame is stunning as it shows the skill and craftsmanship involved in constructing the plasterwork and moulding.

Measurements are 28 1/2 Inches x 20 1/2 Inches overall.The frame is actually 4 1/2 Inches in Depth.

The actual canvas size is 17 1/2 Inches x 9 1/2 Inches.
