A wonderfully charming oil on board painting of a dog by the highly regarded animal painter Nina Colmore 1889-1973. The painting is typical of small dog portraiture with a direct pose looking out of the painting. The work is titled on the reverse ‘Tuppence’ obviously the name of the dog. The work is initialled to the lower left and is framed in a good quality Victorian gilt frame. The whole is in excellent ready to hang condition. C.1930.
