Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
The case is veneered in good quality mahogany. It has a large 10” dial that is nicely engraved. At the top is a hygrometer and above the main dial is a long mercury thermometer. At the bottom is a rectangular spirit level signed with the makers name.
The mercury tube is intact and the barometer is working but probably needs calibrating.
The maximum dimensions are:
31cm(12“) wide
105cm(41.5“) high
