Antique Welsh Dresser & Rack Georgian Style

Here we have for sale today this superb early 20th century Georgian style oak dresser & rack.

Dating from about 1900 and all made in solid English oak, with a joint and peg construction.

Standing on these very fine claw & ball cab legs, with a 3 drawer arrangement above a well carved and pierced apron (Gothic in style), paneled sides with a moulded and polished top. Drawers are cock-beaded and fitted with its original brass handles.

The rack is an inverted break-front fitted with a corneas above a matching carved & pierced apron, fixed shelf's, also fitted with 2 cupboards. Cupboards have paneled doors with its original brass escutcheon plates, with working locks & keg, behind the doors is a single compartment fitted with 2 interior shelf's. The inside back has these wonderful figured and polished backboards.

Original polish and patina, and its a stunning colour with a superb patina (please see pictures)

This dresser & rack is solid in all its joints, with No breaks and No woodworm.

Delivery & Collection details

Collection FREE, delivery available England and Wales, with the large items and chair sets we usually deliver to central England & Wales for the asking price, for further afield please contact for costing’s, we deliver large items ourselves, with all items packed and wrapped to insure no damage, with years of experience, smaller items will be sent by carrier please contact for costing.

Payment details

Payment methods can be by Bank to Bank transfer, cash, cheque, credit or debit card. All moneys must be cleared before items are delivered or collected. We offer a UK, 7 day full money refund if items are not as described or do not suit your requirements (excluding logistics)

Shipping details

We have sold furniture to international customers, and have had their shippers collect from our workshop. We have also had items shipped abroad door to door all insurance covered, contact for quotes.

We are a furniture restoration workshop, busy from day to day doing restoration work for the trade and general public alike.

All items for sale have been restored if restoration is required, unless otherwise stated. Upholstered items will have been re-upholstered, however if the fabric choice is not to taste, we offer a re-upholstery service in customers own fabric, or from our wide range of Linwood and Jim Dickens Fabric ( samples available )
