Description

This is a simply stunning antique Chinese painting on silk which dates from around 1900. The painting depicts many beautiful butterflies flying among chrysanthemum blossom. It is very finely painted in strong gouache colours on ivory silk and is signed to the top left. The painting is quite large, measuring some 120 cms by 62 cms and is a very uplifting and dramatic piece to adorn the right space.

This is in excellent condition with no breaks to the silk.
