Pointillist Floral Still Life, Art Deco Period 1932

Description

A beautifully and bright softly pointillist Floral still life dating from 1932. It is a work by Ettore Simoni (born 1895), an Italian/American artist from Arizona who - like many of his compatriots - came to Paris, the hub of artistic creativity, in the 1930s.

Our oil on canvas measures 61 x 50 cm and is signed and dated at the lower right. the overall framed size is 76 x 65 cm.

The frame, while still attractive, is a little crooked and showing minor repair.
