George Graham "Building the Stack" Oil Painting

Description

George Graham was born in Leeds, Yorkshire, and studied in Leeds and London under various teachers. He was a member of ROI, RI and RSW and was a leading figure in the Yorkshire Union of Artists and Society of Sussex Painters. He showed at the Fine Art Society, Royal Academy from 1916 and the New English Arts Club from 1938.This charming oil painting on canvas by George Graham is signed lower right and is framed in a hand made English swept frame. On the reverse of the canvas is the title in the artist's hand "Building the Stack".
