A rare and fine print that depicts the famous ''play within the play'' scene from Hamlet. The print is engraved from an original work by Daniel Maclise painted in 1842 and now hanging in the Tate. The print wonderfully sums up all that is going on in the scene and the feelings of all the various characters. The print is in excellent condition, hand coloured, and mounted in a period oak frame.
