Description

This is superb quality finely detailed painting in gouache on ivory of the interior of the Jaipur City Palace. The painting is superbly detailed in lovely colours and has a oval gilt metal mount set into the original beautifully carved hardwood, ebonised easel frame. This dates from the mid 19th century, circa. 1850.

The frame measures 24 cms by 25 cms high overall with the oval metal mount being 13 cms by 9 cms.
