To her right, a gentleman is standing close by while carrying a hobo stick over his shoulder.
The track they’re standing on winds its way around to the left towards a small stone building, which could be the couple’s residence. And towards the middle of the scene stands an impressive fortified building with a large tower.

Year of creation: c. 1850 - c. 1890
Condition: One historic repair on the right-hand side and some small paint losses on the left-hand side from a previous frame. A little scuffing in the top right. Craquelure. Wooden and stucco frame with losses in three corners and some small losses on the right-hand side.
