A Regency period miniature watercolour portrait of gentleman. The portrait is a fine quality watercolour on paper, there is some information on reverse, the sitter is John Lincoln, the date is somewhat illegible but looks like 1825. There is also some information on the reverse as to the artist again slightly illegible. The painting has some staining to the paper but overall is in good condition and with bright colours. The work is framed in the original bird''s eye maple frame which has a great colour and patina, there is so slight veneer loss at the top right hand corner. The whole has a great period country house look.
