Description

A head and shoulders portrait of a gentleman with a fine set of beards. The artist has captured his expression brilliantly - from the furrows running along his brow, through to his heavy grey moustache that seems to disappears into a thicket of facial hair. A portrait with presence.

Medium: Oil on canvas

Size including frame: 25½” x 22” / 65cm x 56cm

Year of creation: c. 1915 - c. 1930

Condition: No tears, repairs or holes. It could possibly do with a light clean but we’ve left it as it is as some may prefer it that way. If you would like it cleaned, please just ask and we can provide this free of charge.
