An idyllic Victorian oil on canvas, depicting an everyday scene within the English countryside.

A woman walks hand-in-hand with her child along a winding track in a quiet wooded area. While, in the foreground, three chickens and a rooster roam freely by thatched cottage with a picket fence. A very charming image.

Signed in the bottom right. Slightly illegible but could be ‘W Queen’.
