The young lady is wearing her father’s riding helmet, which she’s either been given or cheekily taken from his head. She’s also wearing a light blue sash around her waist and a white dress with a lace collar.
The colours of this print are still so vibrant - from the light blue running through the carpet on the stairs, through to the checked pattern on the gentleman’s waistcoat.
