Pair of Still Life Oil Paintings of Fruit

A fine pair of Edwardian period oil on canvas still lifes. The works are quite typical of the type but the do have a great impressionist feel to them having been painted with broad swift brushstrokes and great confidence. The paintings do not appear to be signed but on the edge of the canvas is the name 'Miss Hamilton' and I do believe that this could be the artist. The painting are in good condition, one has had a minor hole repaired. The works are in the original gilt frames which are in overall good condition with some slight over paint and discolouration which gives them an untouched country house look. The pair are ready to hang and give a great decorative impact. C.1900.
