Antique French Constructivist Circa 1950 Modernist Still Life with Tea Pot Oil on Board

Description

A superb, bold mid 20th Century oil on board still life by an anonymous master. The painting is unsigned and I have not yet been able to find an attribution, although the style is distinctive and the composition excellent - what audacity to turn a teapot into something so interesting.

Painted circa 1950, the painting measures 55 x 46. Overall dimensions with its original, somewhat worn industrial whitened wood frame are 72 x 62 cm.
