Artist: Richard Peter Richards. (1840-1877).

Title: " A Glorious Sunset". A wonderful landscape with cattle resting by a pool.

Signed and dated (18) '67. Watercolour.

Size: 15"x 23". Framed Size: 23 1/2"x 31".

Now in very good ready to hang condition. Free UK delivery.

Painted landscapes mostly incorporating rivers. Exhibited eleven works at the Royal Academy including views on the River Ribble, Calder and Wharfe. Also exhibited 3 works at the Royal Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street and one at the British Institute.

Born and lived in Liverpool. Died in Pisa, Italy.

Represented in the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool.
