Small Welsh Potboard Dresser, C. 1780

Description

Beautiful Welsh oak dresser, in oak and pine, of particularly unusual and desirable small size. The oak and pine plate rack has a bold cornice and shaped frieze over three open shelves, with original reddish-brown paint to the shelves and backboards. The oak base has a pair of drawers above a shaped apron and is raised on square legs united by a potboard.

(Replaced handles)

Good original colour and surface.
