He studied at the Royal College in Kensington.His subjects were mainly landscapes which included English,Continental and African views and occasionally he painted flower subjects.His later work, such as this example, is more detailed than his earlier work and is generally more desirable..‘Alpine Landscape in the Dolomites’ Signed watercolour, image size 44.5 x 57 cms,framed size 68x83cms.This is a very fine and large example of the artist’s work.I consider the artist’s Alpine views amongst the best of his works.
