A very large and rare solid silver , enamelled and gold inlaid okimono of Jurojin , the God of wisdom . This wonderful figure depicts Jurojin holding his staff whilst seated with a Siberian crane . The sculptural qualities and the decoration are typical of the best in Meiji workmanship . Okimonos in solid silver are extremely rare in this large scale , and seldom come on the market .
