Harold Edward Conway born 1872 Wimbledon.Studied Slade School and Juliens ,Paris.Lived Burford Oxfordshire.Exhibited RA, RI and ROI.’ The Herbaceous Border’ watercolour ,image size 35x30 cms,framed size 56x51cms,in original period gilt frame inscribed on slip with title and artist’s name;provenance TB&R Jordan 3rd Harrogate Staithes Group Exhibition 2005.This watercolour is a finely executed and beautiful example of the artist’s work and is sure to appeal to collectors of garden art and Staithes School pictures.
