A fine and exquisite antique oil on panel depicting the view from a garden over a valley, village and hills. With an atmospheric sky and wonderful detail, this is a painting one enjoys looking at again and again.

Dating from the 1870s or 1880s, this is the work of an excellent artist. Our painting is signed, but only a trace of signature is left, and I have not been able to decipher it. Painted in oil on panel, the artwork measures 21 x 15,5 cm.

The painting is presented in its original gilded frame, which however, shows some damage and repair. The size including the frame is 30 x 25 cm
