A lovely, fibrant early 20th century watercolour by Yvonne Brudo, a woman painter born in Paris, and who studied with Fernand Imbert and with Jules Adler. She exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, where she received honorable mentions and medals in the 1920s.

With its rich colours and purity of subject, the work here presented is reminiscent of the Pont Aven/Nabis artists and measures 33 x 23 cm. It is presented in a simple frame which the previous owner chose. The overall framed size is 44 x 31 cm
