Pair of Oil Painting Miniatures Hunting Scenes

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a delightful pair of miniature paintings depicting hunting scenes, with riders on horseback in their scarlet hunting pink jackets in pursuit with hounds which date from around 1910. These are delicately painted in oil on board under a convex glass.

The paintings are signed to the lower right and are attractively framed in their original circular gilded frames which have watered silk to the reverse.

The frames measure 12.5 cms in diameter.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
