Description

Victorian Welsh Oak Antique Dresser

Dating from around 1860, this charming Welsh Oak dresser has an inverted break front moulded cornice above two glazed cupboards and three central plate racks with hooks. The lower section has a beautifully figured top with moulded edge above three drawers with turned handles, two cupboard doors with moulded edges and a central dog kennel centre. This delightful piece stands on beautifully turned bun feet and splits into two sections for easy removal. The oak has aged to a warm golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
