Description

A delightful antique painting by Maurice Falliès (French 1883-1965), an artist who specialised in Paris street scenes) depicting the Flore Pavillion of the Louvrel. Maurice Failles studied notably with Francois Gall - it is said he left some of his paintings unsigned so as to create a doubt whether he or Gallhad painted a certain artwork!

Signed lower right, the artwork here presented was painted circa ca 1935. An oil on panel, it measures 38 x 46 cm - that is the size for the painting alone, with its frame, it is larger.
