A very charming painting by Maurice Falliès (1883-1965)

depicting Paris, Latin Quarter, La Fontaine St Michel. Maurice Failles studied notably with Francois Gall - it is said he left some of his paintings unsigned so as to create a doubt whether he or Gall,had painted a certain artwork!

Painted circa ca 1935, this is an oil on paper mounted on board,

Signed lower right, the size of the painting alone is 26 x 33 cm . The overall framed size is ca 30 x 37 cm.
