Fine Impressionist Oil Painting Domestic Scene

A fine quality oil on panel depicting a domestic scene of a lady by the fire plucking a goose. The painting is very loose and quickly done with a great deal of confidence, but sadly it is not signed. The detail and use of colour is wonderful, I particularly like the glow from the fire in the range and the contrast with the dark room and figure against the bright white feathers and goose. The painting is mounted in a superb quality gilt frame which has a great worn look. The work dates to c.1900 and is most likely English or Irish.
