Dutch Post Impressionist Oil Painting

A very interesting and decorative post impressionist oil on board landscape most likely Dutch. The work is in very thick impasto paint applied with palette knife and brush, and shows a typically Dutch scene of boats and a windmill. The work is signed to the lower right but it is illegible, there is also an inscription on the reverse which may be a title. The painting is mounted in a Victorian gilt frame often repurposed by artists for such works, it has been later regilded. C.1920.
