Description

A fantastic early 18th century Montgomeryshire pot board dresser of fine colour and patination. The dresser has three drawers that sit above a large swept ogee arched frieze and pot board, standing on chamfered legs. The drawers have later brass handles and would have originally had turned knobs. The right drawer has the original linings, the middle drawer has had the linings replaced and the left drawer has had the drawer bottom board replaced. The dresser has had a couple of old repairs to the back legs. The base has its original rack and original hooks, the top back board and the board on top of the rack are old replacements. Overall a superb dresser and in good condition.
