Pair of Oil Paintings of Famous Ships

A very decorative pair of oils on board of famous ships, the Cutty Sark and the Sirius. The pair are both well painted and with great marine settings. The pair are both signed and dated 'E.W.Poyser 1933' the artist is unrecorded but may have been part of the Poyser family of painters from Nottingham. The quality of the work is very high and the pair are certainly painted by an artist with some training. The pair have both been professionally cleaned and are mounted in a Pair of Victorian period gilt frames that suit them very well. The pair have a great decorative impact with a marine feel and are ready to hang.
