As part of our Japanese Works of art collection we are delighted to offer this exceptionally cute Taisho period (1912-1926 ) bronze Puppy Dog Okimono depicting an inquisitive and playful Akita trying to understand the object beneath his paw, his head turned and his silvered eyes captivated by the Sea shell , a very heavy bronze nicely cast and signed to the underside within a seal .
