.A 19th century gouache study of an 18th century countryside gathering a shepherdess pauses with her flock in admiration of a young pipe-playing musician, he is accompanied by two hounds with a young boy tending to the sheep and a further maiden onlooking and listening, painted on paper, glazed and set within a gilt plaster frame with oval slip aperture

Good no tears or repairs to painting, frame has a few nibbles but mostly there, please see pictures.
