A fine and original set of four Georgian prints of the seasons. The four prints which are all circular each show an allegorical scene of one of the four seasons. The original works were by William Hamilton RA and these prints were published in 1798. The frames and mounts are all original and the glass has been blacked with a thin gilt line to highlight the works. The frames are a simple gilt circle, typical of the refined and elegant designs of the period. The whole are in very good condition, with some minor repairs to the frames.
