A fine oil on canvas painting of King Charles spaniels after the famous original by Landseer titled: ''The Cavalier''s pets'' . The work is of a very good standard and the expressions on the dogs are priceless. It is often the case with works painted after another work that they are signed in monogram and this is the case here with the ''H.N.J'' near the cavaliers hat. The painting is in excellent condition andd is mounted in a period double frame with gilt interior and oak and gilt exterior that works very well and gives it a lot of impact.
